Elon Musk Kind of Hinted That the Cybertruck Could Turn on a Dime
Previous Tesla invites had hidden Easter eggs embedded within. I enhanced the image it unveils 2 wheels in motion. Would the lights then be the side lights surrounding the truck or can the wheels rotate do something out of this world? #LikeTesla #Tesla #CyberTruck pic.twitter.com/lUsZ6LWKSO

As pointed out by @LikeTeslaKim on twitter, the Cybertruck reveal invite actually gives the appearance that the Tesla Cybertruck could have wheels that rotate – I like to consider it four-wheel steering. Despite Musk’s claim that the Cybertruck would have a dual-motor configuration, a four-motor setup wouldn’t be that hard to concoct on something that’s going to be as large as and look like an armored personnel carrier. And if it’s really that large, being able to turn on a dime could be not only impressive but highly usable in some cases.
Now, to be honest, the whole zero-turn idea probably won’t happen, but there’s a possibility that it could. Elon Musk is the kind of guy that likes to do crazy things. He’s going to strap a rocket to the new Tesla Roadster, he sold the flamethrower, and he’s still expecting to send people to Mars. He likes to do what everyone says he won’t or can’t, and you can bet that if he’s thought about a four-motor Cybertruck and the ability to do insane donuts, then it will become a reality at some point in the future.
After all, a Cybertruck doing crazy, effortless donuts anytime, anywhere would be a whole hell of a lot of fun, don’t you think?
