Who to watch
The top speed at the end of the pit straight – 225 mph – is absolutely mighty, which you think would benefit the Mercedes cars. But the low grip, medium-speed corners in some of the Esses will bring Red Bull into the mix. It does not seem to be a power-dominated track, which is encouraging.
Rosberg’s troubles
Of course Nico Rosberg can win a title alongside Lewis Hamilton, but right now, as their careers have evolved, Lewis has had the stronger profile. Nico is a fine, professional racing driver, but at the moment it isn’t enough. It’s going to take a back to the drawing board approach.
