“We have made it very clear this is an unacceptable scenario for us, for both
of them. We don’t want this to happen ever again.”
Rosberg now leads Hamilton by 29 points in the drivers’ championship after
they collided at Les Combes on lap two at Spa-Francorchamps. The pair met in
a hotly anticipated press conference on Thursday, although they gave little
away.
Last week, back at the team base in Brackley, the pair met with Wolff and
technical boss Paddy Lowe for an “intense” meeting. Rosberg was given a
six-figure fine for his actions in Spa and apologised, while Hamilton
admitted he had made mistakes through the course of their rivalry this
season.
