The Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport will make a return at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
International sports car racer, Oliver Gavin, posted an image on Instagram showing a rundown of the Chevrolet press conference at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. On this schedule is the debut of the Corvette Grand Sport with Gavin scheduled to make the introduction along with Corvette chief engineer Tadge Juechter, who will drive the Grand Sport onto the stage.
“Made it to Geneva. Now heading to #genevamotorshow for rehearsal for the @corvette #GrandSport world premiere tomorrow,” Gavin wrote on his Instagram post.
Gavin is a five-time Le Mans winner and recently claimed the GTLM crown at the Daytona 24 Hour race.

The American automaker hasn’t made a peep about a new Corvette Grand Sport, so it appears Gavin jumped the gun a bit on social media, but who’s complaining?
The Chevrolet press conference at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show will start at 1:45 a.m. Pacific or 4:45 a.m. Eastern on March 1, 2016. AutoGuide.com will be reporting live from Switzerland with coverage so check back for more details on the new Corvette Grand Sport once it is officially unveiled.
