

Nissan has released a crash-test video of its ZEOD RC racer—the kinda, sorta copy of the innovative DeltaWing race car—smashing head-on into a wall. And because car crashes tend to look better in slow motion, the clip incorporates some of that, too. It’s a cool watch, and it’s fascinating to see how a carbon-fiber snout responds to meeting a fixed object at speed. The nose of the ZEOD more or less disintegrates, but in a controlled manner that clearly does a good job of absorbing the crash forces. Check it out below:
