Hard to believe that Jarno Trulli has been relieved of his job as a driver at the Caterham team to make way for Vitaly Petrov, the Russian driver who raced the last two years at Renault. Trulli has been racing in Formula 1 since 1997, and this year he was the last remaining Italian driver in the series.
Will the genial Italian find the resilience to bounce back into another driver the way drivers bounce back after accidents, the way he did after losing his job at Toyota? It could be difficult, as I doubt he will want to take a secondary role and it seems all seats are taken for the season – unless someone else gets dropped….
