The SRT Viper GTS-R, which debuted alongside the SRT Viper at the New York auto show last April, will make its American Le Mans debut at Mid-Ohio on August 4. This Viper will compete in the GT class, which is dedicated to production-based race cars. According to SRT, the GTS-R has between 450 and 500 hp and a top speed of around 180 mph. If a production Viper can sound this good ripping around GingerMan Raceway, we can’t wait to witness the noise of an ALMS-prepped GTS-R.
