At the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, Chrysler’s new SRT performance brand expanded its “Core SRT” vehicle strategy by adding new models to its lineup with the Dodge Challenger SRT8 Core and the Chrysler 300 SRT8 Core.
With black accents, 20-inch wheels, and unique decals, SRT added more aesthetics than performance for its Core models. The Challenger receives a black grille, SRT rear spoiler, unique 392 decals, and black Brembo calipers; similar to the 300 SRT8 Core model. Both vehicles are powered by a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine with 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque.
