The inaugural United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas starts in one week from today.  It marks the penultimate race of the season and could crown Sebastian Vettel as champion.  But it could also be the scene of Fernando Alonso’s last chance, as only 10 points separate the two drivers from triple world titles.

It will be the end of a logistical challenge like F1 has never faced before with a third of the season happening in the final two months and on several continents.  But what we forget is that despite Kimi Raikkonen’s victory in Abu Dhabi two weeks ago, the man who was on pole and led the race was Lewis Hamilton in his final races driving a McLaren Mercedes.  The British driver could upset the leaders next weekend too – so many scenarios, impossible to say what will happen.
