On Monday we presented this week’s shifter and asked you to identify the make and model of the vehicle from whence it came. The shifter’s familiar look led many of you to correctly identify it as belonging to a 2009 Ford Focus RS. The first commenter to do so was M Hops, who will receive a Save the Manuals button and sticker as a reward.
The Focus RS pictured here is from our July 2009 issue. This non-U.S. model was a beast, and boasted a 300-hp turbocharged inline-five sourced from Volvo. The RS’s show didn’t play second fiddle to its go, either—witness the wild body kit and flashy paint.
