Lotus announced today that it will be bringing a “roofless” vehicle to the 2012 Geneva auto show in March. What it is exactly, the company isn’t saying. Our money is on a convertible Evora, but for a company that conjured six all-new vehicles from thin air at the 2010 Paris auto show, anything is possible. It could be that Lotus will build a convertible version of Gordon Murray’s T.27 city car, or it could be that we’ll see a droptop take of the still-vaporous Esprit. Or, it could be—OK, you get the idea.
We’ll keep you posted.
