Telegraph Sport understands that despite that, Hamilton never received
a formal request to testify and that his lawyer voluntarily contacted the
judge in question to say that, while Hamilton was happy to co-operate, he
had other engagements in the run-up to the launch of McLaren’s new
challenger on Feb 1.
