After his fourth win in a row in South Korea, Sebastian Vettel can become the
youngest quadruple world champion in history this weekend in Suzuka, Japan,
if he wins and Fernando Alonso finishes lower than eighth.
But as Vettel looks to win the title at a canter, controversy around the
fast-degrading Pirelli tyres reared its ugly head again in Korea, with Mark
Webber and Alonso particularly stinging in their criticism.
And while the championship as a contest for this year is all but over, there
remains plenty to look forward to, including the fate of some of the sport’s
rising stars, (particularly Sauber’s Nico Hulkenberg), and some intriguing
inter-team battles for 2014 (Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen at Ferrari, Daniel
Ricciardo and Vettel at Red Bull).
All these issues and more will be covered in this webchat with our Formula One
correspondent, Tom Cary.
