Hamilton was initially in disbelief when I told him on Wednesday that he has
never been on pole here, but this year seems to be THE year. Although he
started first in 2013, Rosberg has shown himself prone to the occasional
qualifying error. The ever-impressive Ricciardo might just split the
Mercedes.

Some clever strategy (and superior pace) will get Rosberg into second.

The rules
You’ll get five points if a driver you pick is in the top three, and 10 points
if you get him in the right place. We will keep track of everyone’s scores
over the course of the season, to determine the overall winner, and each
blog will post the current league table.
The blog will stay open over the weekend, allowing everyone to carry on
discussing the action as it unfolds.
The competition is still open to those who missed the first five races, and
qualifying for Monaco. As all the drivers keep harping on, there’s plenty of
time to make up for lost ground.
