The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is the most powerful pony car yet, and it will be participating in the Goodwood hill climb this year in tribute to the late Caroll Shelby.
The hill climb marks the cars first appearance off of American soil, as you can only buy it in the US. As a tribute to Caroll Shelby, the man behind the car, the GT500 will compete in the hill climb, looking to spread some of its American muscle around the globe.
The GT500 runs with a 5.8-litre supercharged V8 engine, producing 662 horsepower and 631 lb ft of torque, which should give it ample power to be a competitor in the race.
