The president of the CBA, Cleyton Pinteiro, was one of the signatories on the
support letter signed at a meeting in Uruguay earlier this year.

There are also concerns over the disciplinary process, with no one sure
exactly to whom the committee will report or what powers it has at its
disposal.

It is understood that the FIA’s Ethics Committee, new this year, has met once
before with the report handed over to Todt who decided not to make its
contents or any consequences public.

In this instance, however, with Todt effectively the defendant, the FIA’s
statutes do not make it clear to whom it should report if not Todt.

Graham Stoker, the FIA’s Deputy President of Sport, and Nick Craw, the
President of the FIA Senate, are both part of Ward’s complaint and both on
Todt’s re-election ticket.
