Like this, but Z06-ier. And with lotsa horsepower.
Thanks to a reader over at Jalopnik, we now know what kind of power and torque to expect from the beastly 2015 Corvette Z06—and the numbers are rather large.
Searching Google for info on the Z06 turned up GM’s official reveal page for the car, which had the pertinent numbers right in its metadata: 620 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. (GM has since removed the info.) If recent additional leaks and information from our sources are to be believed, that might will come courtesy of a supercharged V-8 updated with the latest tech from the Gen V small-block engine family. The Z06 will be revealed in all its track-ready glory on Monday at the 2014 Detroit auto show.
