“Maybe I was not enjoying my job so much, maybe I was not happy,” Massa said.
“I am happy now. When you get into the car and want to have fun and enjoy
it; that is when you can do your job in the best way possible.
“By doing that you can have a year like 2008.”
In response to suggestions that Ferrari might favour Alonso from the start of
the 2013 campaign, Massa said that it would be “absurd” if Ferrari did not
support one of their two drivers, adding that he fully expected the Spaniard
to help him if he was ahead in the championship towards the end of the year
and the situation demanded it.
