Bernie Ecclestone, the F1 promoter, today spoke to reporters in Budapest where the Hungarian Grand Prix takes place tomorrow, and he confirmed that next season would again have 20 races. He did not announce an exact list, but it reduced speculation there would be a lot more than 20, which is the number of races running this year for the first time in the series’ history.
He said that the New Jersey race was “supposed” to run next year as well as the new U.S. Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, which debuts this year.
