And now the magic number is seven! Lewis Hamilton drove to a brilliant victory at the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday, taking the tally to seven different winners in Formula 1 in the first seven races this year.
This has never happened in the series, nothing like it. And Hamilton’s victory, passing two cars to take the lead in the last ten laps was absolutely fantastic racing. It was all on the razor’s edge, but the British driver took the win and leaped to the lead of the series, ahead of Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel, who are second and third in the series.
