Mark Webber has a column on the BBC web site and just wrote about his victory in Monaco last weekend, and shot down speculation that he was holding up the other cars to help Sebastian Vettel, his teammate, catch up to take the victory – which never happened. Huh? Come on. Webber is not that much of a second driver. I don’t think he is a No. 2 at all, until Vettel shows clearly that he is way, way ahead. In fact, with the new tires it is necessary for a driver to lower his lap times sometimes to make the tires last….
