Sebastian Vettel came in third at the Japanese Grand Prix, while his nearest rival in the championship, Jenson Button, won the race. But all Vettel needed to win his second title in a row was 1 point. The German became the youngest ever double world champion, supplanting Fernando Alonso, who finished the race second.
It was an exciting race, but it ended the title hunt four races before the end of the season.
