Some team bosses have said that they think it is just fine that Formula 1 this season has had six winners in the first six races, something that has never happened before. I must say, I agree. My own feeling is that the races have NOT been too unpredictable. On the contrary, I get a feeling of which teams and drivers are strong at the moment, and why. This is NOT a situation for me like in Nascar or IndyCar where there is a massive amount of passing and you can go away and come back to see who will win on the last lap. There IS reason behind this: Strategy, technology, tracks, tires, aerodynamics, all making a difference at the different tracks, as well as the drivers making a difference. No, I would NOT want to see 20 winners out of 24 drivers. But I could settle for a seventh winner in Canada – Lewis Hamilton anyone?
