Team sources have suggested to Telegraph Sport that Force India are not
overly concerned by Di Resta’s size with consistency of engine performance
likely to determine success next year more than a driver’s weight.

Sauber’s
Nico Hülkenberg, another of Formula One’s larger drivers, is now being
strongly tipped for a move to Lotus
following his brilliant fourth place in Korea, beating Mercedes
Lewis
Hamilton
and Ferrari’s
Fernando Alonso. Alonso hailed Hulkenberg’s performance as “superb”.

Meanwhile, FIA president Jean Todt launched his official campaign website on
Monday as he bids to be re-elected for a second term in December. The
Frenchman said he hoped the election would be run in a “constructive” manner
following criticism of his tenure by rival David Ward.

Ward tweeted yesterday that Todt’s website was lacking in substance. “Empty
road ahead? Just read Jean Todt’s manifesto but sadly doesn’t include his
future plans. So he can still borrow some of mine!”
