Like a pissed-off supermodel, the McLaren P1 manages to look both beautiful and mean.
The British automaker has shared new photos of its P1 supercar with a menacingly dark paint job that may appear black to the naked eye, but has a hint of a dark purple shade mixed in. The photos were taken in Bahrain, a perfect match of environment to the exotic machine.

The McLaren P1 is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo hybrid V8 engine with 903 hp and accelerates to 62 mph in under three seconds. Production has been reserved to just 375 units, making the McLaren P1 not only one of the most beautiful cars available, but also one of the rarest.
