Last year, Liberty Walk surprised the SEMA Show with its custom Lamborghini Murcielago. This year, the Japanese-based company is back in Las Vegas with two supercars: A Ferrari 458 and a Nissan GT-R.
Starring in the Nitto booth is the Liberty Walk Ferrari 458 while the custom Nissan GT-R was in the Toyo Tires booth. Both vehicles feature the company’s signature bolt-on overfenders, while the GT-R sports race-inspired front and rear bumpers and a new Super GT wing. It might not be as crazy as the Bensopra GT-Rs that we featured from the 2012 SEMA Show, but the Liberty Walk GT-R looks cleaner.
As for the Ferrari 458 Italia, it’s one of those vehicles that you simply have to see to believe. A new front splitter, massive rear diffuser and deck lid spoiler transforms the already-gorgeous 458 to a machine that’s even more exotic while maintaining its elegance. While we wish both vehicles were finished in a different paint shade, we can respect Liberty Walk for being subtle with their SEMA projects, especially since they’re already doing a fine job standing out from the crowd.
