As 2013 comes to a close, Lexus predicts that it’ll set a new global sales record this year.
The Japanese automaker’s current global sales record is 518,300 units set in 2007, but it believes that it’ll reach at least 520,000 units this year. U.S. sales should end the year at around 270,000, which is down from its 2007 number of 329,177.

Through October, Lexus has sold 213,479 units in America, a rise of 12 percent compared to last year. But it’s the worldwide sales that Lexus is going to be proud of as it continues to expand and become a worldwide luxury brand.
