If there is a manufacturer in India which can really be proud of its achievements it would be Hyundai especially after the launch of the Eon. And making hay while the sun shines, Hyundai is in the middle of a full expansion of its range of cars. The Korean manufacturer announced its plans to launch 15 new models in India in the next 5 years. This decision came after Hyundai decided to reinforce its position in the emerging countries.

Though Hyundai’s market share in India has declined since a year ago we expect the Eon to correct that. The company also plans to introduce an LPG version for its new EON. Hyundai it’s not the only manufacturer which plans to expand its range of vehicles. The Korean carmaker competes against strong rivals which all have expansion plans. Among its closest rivals there are Ford, Renault and Maruti Suzuki. It looks like India is starting to get more and more attention from the automotive industry and we like this new approach as the competition between brands only benefits the consumers.
