Raikkonen’s Lotus partner Frenchman Romain Grosjean was seventh ahead of
Brazilian Felipe Massa in the second Ferrari and Britons Paul Di Resta of
Force India and Jenson Button, in the second McLaren.

The two Mercedes men, Germans Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg, were down
in 17th and 18th place respectively after a lacklustre session.

On a sweltering day at the Hungaroring, the track temperature rose to more
than 40 degrees Celsius during the session after Webber had topped the times
in the opening laps.

In haste to make up for time lost in Friday’s rain, most of the teams worked
hard at reeling off the laps with Webber’s Red Bull team-mate Vettel taking
over as fastest before being outpaced again by the Australian in 1:21.550.

Both men were among the first to run on soft tyres and this gave them an
advantage in the sunshine before others also switched over to the softer
rubber in the closing minutes.
