Honda has released new photos of its S660 concept side-by-side with its inspiration, the classic Sports 360.
The S660 concept, which made its debut at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, is a midship rear-wheel-drive model that retains the Sports 360′s original design philosophy while sporting an as-large-as-possible wheelbase and tread. The result is a sports car giving us a glimpse of Honda’s new Design Philosophy.

Though Honda has not hinted as to whether the S660 concept will become reality, one thing is for sure: the Japanese automaker is going back to its roots to find inspiration for what will likely be its next sports car.
