The provisional calendar for the 2013 Formula 1 season has finally been released by the FIA.  There are no real surprises on it, but some good news in that the second race in the U.S., the one in New Jersey, is still on the calendar – coupled with the Canadian Grand Prix in June.  The Bahrain Grand Prix, which caused so much fuss this season because of the tense political situation in the country, has also remained on the calendar for next season.  Aside from that, the European Grand Prix has been removed, and therefore Spain has only one race – in Barcelona, for the Spanish Grand Prix.  Valencia is likely to host the Spanish Grand Prix in 2014, alternating with Barcelona as a venue, as happens in Germany with the Nurburgring and Hockenheimring circuits.
