Along with a picture of the two unicycling from their youth, Hamilton wrote: “We’ve
been friends for a long time and as friends we have our ups and downs.
“Today we spoke, we’re cool, still friends no problem.”
It is still unclear whether Hamilton has accepted Rosberg’s apology for what
happened in qualifying, but the pair do now seem to be on speaking terms.
Rosberg assumed the lead of the championship in Monaco, after Hamilton’s run
of four straight wins.
The next episode in the rivalry will be at the Canadian Grand Prix a week
tomorrow, a circuit where Hamilton traditional goes very well.
