Lotus’s lead driver, Kimi Räikkönen, was second
to Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso in Sunday’s Spanish grand prix
but the team has been less successful off-track. Its latest accounts for the
year ending December 31 2011 show that the team made a £20.8m pre-tax loss,
despite revenue rising 41pc to £115.7m.
