Nissan Altima Dressed as a Race Car Fools Passengers

Nissan is out to prove that its Altima isn’t just some mundane, boring sedan.

The Japanese automaker took to the track and invited people to take the ride of their life with an “advanced Altima race car.” The thing is, there was almost nothing special about the Altima being used in the video aside from its livery. The vehicles were mostly stock with an outside appearance of a race car and added an exhaust so that the 3.5-liter V6 sounded more like a race car.

The drivers took the unsuspecting passengers for a lap around Willow Springs with in-car cameras capturing their reactions and experience. Afterwards, the Japanese automaker revealed its deception to the surprised guests.
