Get ready California, Hyundai’s hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are here.
The first production Hyundai Tucson Hydrogen Fuel Cell vehicles have arrived and will be heading to dealerships soon. Seen at last year’s Los Angeles Auto Show, the Hyundai Tucson Hydrogen Fuel Cell will be available in California as a lease-only vehicle, priced at $499 a month. Included in that monthly payment is fuel for the life of the lease.

The electric motor provides the Tucson Hydrogen Fuel Cell with 134 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque and is capable of carrying 12.3 lbs of gas. Four select California dealerships will offer the Tucson Hydrogen Fuel Cell and leases will be set at 36 months and also includes all maintenance costs. The Korean automaker currently plans on building 1,000 units through next year.
